I have had several jobs in my career, but have
found that I truly love working with preschoolers. I
believe that teaching children this age is a golden
opportunity to encourage creativity, curiosity and
social skills in children as they transition into the
rigors of elementary school. That is what children
experience at CCNS!
My greatest joy outside of school is spending time
with my husband Don and my three grown
children, Lindsay, Jesse and Julia. All three of my
children went through the CCNS program and
benefited greatly from it. In my free time, I sing in
the church choir, exercise (walking, yoga, bicycling,
cross-country skiing) and tend to my flower
gardens. I love all kinds of theater and music
venues.
In addition to teaching at CCNS, I am employed as
director of The Rainbow Choir at Wauwatosa
Presbyterian Church, which consists of 5 through
10 year olds. Music is a very important part of my
life. I attend a musician's conference in Green Lake
who specialize in working with young children. I
believe that music is an essential aspect of our
curriculum at Curiosity Corner!
