I recieved my teaching degree in elementary
education from Carroll University. I taught for four
years in the Wauwatosa School District. I began
teaching at Curiosity Corner when my children were
in grade school. They are adults now.
I love teaching preschool because three and four
year olds are full of wonder. I enjoy the anticipation
of what is going to happen next because in
preschool you never know what is next sometimes!
Every day is fresh and exciting. I also enjoy the
partnership with parents in making their child's first
school experience successful!
I believe in teaching the whole child. All children are
unique individuals who need to explore at their own
pace and in their own way. A play-based preschool
helps achieve this. Young children learn about the
world through their play. When learning is fun it
stimulates discovery and curiosity. I am proud
Curiosity Corner achieves this. I have been blessed
to be part of such an amazing school!
My hobby and second job is teaching baton lessons
for the Daley Debutantes and the Wauwatosa
Recreation Department. It is something I have been
participating in since I was young. You can find me
escorting my youngsters in many local parades.
