I have been teaching for 17 years. This is my
fourteenth year at Curiosity Corner.
I have two children who are in college. My daughter
is a senior at UW-Madison earning a degree in
Elementary Education. My son Chris is a
sophomore at Platteville working on a business
major. My husband's name is Ron. We have been
married for 24 years.
My hobby and second job is teaching baton lessons
for the Daley Debutantes and the Wauwatosa
Recreation Department. It is something I have been
participating in since I was young. You can find me
escorting my youngsters in many local parades.
My family is very sports-oriented. We are big
Wisconsin Badger and Green Bay Packer fans. We
enjoy going to football and basketball games. We
are also fans of the UWM Panther's basketball team.
Our daughter is a manager for the men's basketball
team in Madison.
I love teaching preschool because I love the
exuberance of the children when they learn
something new. They are so uninhibited to express
their feelings.
My philosophy is children learn the best through
play. We give them the gift of centers, toys, books,
etc. and then we let them take it from there using
their creativity. I believe in an environment which
makes children feel loveable and capable. I am
proud that Curiosity Corner achieves this.
