I have been teaching/working with children for over
20 years. This is my fourth year teaching at Curiosity
Corner.
My family consists of one husband, four children:
Monica (21), Jason (16), Emily (11) and Luke (8) and
three guinea pigs. I love to read and enjoy doing a
variety of crafty and creative projects.
I believe young children learn best by doing and
need plenty of "hands on" opportunities to
experience their world. Childhood flies by very
quickly and I think it is important for children to have
plenty of time to "just be a kid!" It is important to step
back and appreciate the value of childhood and all
that is really going on in their play.
